Executive / Senior Executive / Assistant Manager Procurement (Procurement Excellence)

About the role

Singapore Airlines is looking for an Executive, Senior Executive or Assistant Manager for Procurement within its Procurement Department in the Corporate Planning Division. The successful candidate will lead the development and implementation of enterprise-wide supply chain governance, standards, performance management and continuous improvement initiatives, strengthening supply chain resilience, data quality, process compliance and operational efficiency across the airline.

Key responsibilities

• Supply chain, inventory and data governance: develop and maintain inventory policies, procedures and controls covering demand planning, replenishment, holding, movements, ageing, write-offs and disposal; standardise supply chain processes, roles and controls across Business Units, Procurement, Finance, Warehousing and Logistics; analyse inventory levels, consumption trends, demand patterns, lead times and supply risks; improve inventory visibility through standardised reporting, dashboards and control-tower capabilities; set up escalation, root-cause analysis and corrective action processes; develop and monitor KPIs such as inventory turns, service levels and supplier performance; contribute to supply risk assessments and business continuity planning.
• Master data governance: design, document and maintain the master data governance policy, framework, standards, procedures and guidelines for procurement, material and service master data; establish data quality standards, validation rules, naming conventions, classification structures and approval workflows; configure approved policies and controls in the Enterprise Data Governance tool; monitor data accuracy, completeness, consistency, timeliness, duplication and compliance.
• Risk, sustainability and corporate governance: lead the department's risk management agenda, including identification, assessment, mitigation, monitoring and reporting; embed sustainability, ESG and responsible procurement requirements into policies, processes and performance reporting; lead IPT governance and compliance, ensuring timely submission, accurate reporting and closure of follow-up actions; strengthen enterprise risk and control effectiveness by identifying control gaps and implementing mitigating measures.

Required profile

• Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Operations Management, Information Systems or a related discipline.
• At least five years' relevant experience in supply chain, procurement, operations, transformation or governance.
• Experience in supply chain governance, process improvement, performance and risk management.
• Experience developing master data governance policies, workflows and controls.
• Strong analytical, project management, communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders, manage priorities and work independently.
• Relevant professional certification is an advantage.

Required skills

• Knowledge of procurement transformation, Source-to-Pay, automation, digitalisation, controls and reporting.
• Data analysis, dashboard development, process mapping and root-cause analysis.
• Proficiency in ERP, procurement, inventory management or Master Data Governance systems.
• Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI, SAP or SAP MDG experience is an advantage.
