F10 Probe Automation Engineer

About the role

Micron is hiring an F10 Probe Automation Engineer to design, develop, deploy and maintain automation software that supports factory operations, including autonomous material delivery, factory scheduling and in-house equipment automation. The role works closely with site manufacturing teams and global factory automation teams to improve productivity, cycle time and system efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy and maintain automation software for factory operations, including autonomous material delivery, factory scheduling and in-house equipment automation.
• Work with site manufacturing teams to build automated scheduling solutions that improve productivity, cycle time and system efficiency.
• Collaborate with global factory automation teams to enable and integrate autonomous mobile robot solutions for material delivery.
• Partner with global equipment and automation groups to develop, enhance and support in-house equipment automation.
• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of automation solutions, from requests and design to deployment, monitoring and continuous improvement.
• Use data analysis, system monitoring and visualization tools (dashboards and reports) to find opportunities for automation and performance improvement.
• Troubleshoot automation systems and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Integrate AI-assisted tools into daily work and share AI-enabled improvements within scope.

Required profile

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with Linux-based systems (Ubuntu, Debian, RHEL, AlmaLinux), including scripting and troubleshooting.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform.
• Demonstrated leadership potential, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and a growth mindset.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in Perl and/or Python, SQL and web technologies (Angular, HTML, CSS).
• Ability to quickly learn new programming languages and frameworks.
• Tableau or PowerBI is an advantage; hands-on AI and machine learning experience is an advantage.
