Facilities Engineer

About the role

JLL is hiring a Facilities Engineer for an on-site position in Singapore. The role carries overall technical responsibility for facilities service delivery within the Engineering Command Centre and acts as the single point of technical contact for facilities management at the site. It works to meet the client's financial and operational KPIs under the client's Management Agreement SLA.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee site facilities engineering operations and ensure services are delivered in line with the client's Management SLA
• Establish engineering and operational procedures and roll them out to site staff
• Ensure compliance with all relevant governmental regulations
• Act as the single point of contact for technical issues affecting facilities management
• Implement energy management programs to reduce utility costs
• Manage contract vendors, run scheduled technical audits and maintenance, and develop technical service standards
• Set up a monthly performance measurement system, run a preventive maintenance program and manage breakdown maintenance on engineering systems
• Manage parts inventory, maintain as-fitted drawings and O&M manuals, and support client and JLL audits
• Establish engineering budgets, operate CMR and BMR ticketing systems, organize power-down procedures and liaise with landlords on building issues
• Provide 24x7 emergency call support, prepare incident reports and assist with monthly FM reporting

Required profile

• University degree or professional qualification in engineering
• Over 5 years of practical experience in facilities maintenance operations
• Fluent in spoken and written English and the local language
• IT literate

• Prior exposure to Critical Environment procedures or planning
