Facilities Maintenance Technician – 12‑hour Rotating Shifts

About the role

Join a leading technology company as a Facilities Maintenance Technician, responsible for monitoring and maintaining critical plant systems in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. You will work 12‑hour rotating shifts, ensuring the facility operates safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily monitoring and recording of facilities system parameters and report deviations.
• Perform assigned maintenance tasks, complete shift reports, preventive‑maintenance work orders, and update the Facilities Management System (FMS).
• Respond promptly to site issues such as lift, dumbwaiter, water leaks, pipe bursts, power trips, and fire‑alarm triggers.
• Liaise with vendors and contractors to troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions.
• Supervise maintenance service contractors to ensure compliance with EHS, scope of work, and housekeeping standards.
• Maintain equipment and shop‑floor cleanliness and conduct first‑layer process audits.
• Administer daily facilities meetings, record minutes, and circulate updates to relevant parties.
• Escalate identified issues through OCAP to prevent production or safety impact.

Required profile

• Higher NITEC/NITEC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Prior experience in facilities or plant maintenance is an advantage.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to work 12‑hour rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Required skills

• Mechanical and electrical systems troubleshooting.
• Use of Facilities Management System (FMS) for work‑order tracking.
• Preventive maintenance (PM) planning and execution.
• Vendor and contractor coordination.
