Facilities Management Manager – Campus Operations

About the role

The role oversees building operations within an assigned zone of the National University of Singapore, handling day‑to‑day maintenance, cyclical works, facility renewal and project management. The incumbent also provides technical support for events and manages term contracts and renovation projects across the campus.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical and administrative support for facility management and maintenance operations.
• Address user feedback and resolve complaints logged via FMS/CMMS and email, ensuring timely closure of site works.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external contractors, conduct site inspections and lead coordination meetings.
• Supervise contractors to ensure compliance with specifications, quality standards and timelines.
• Prepare and administer contract documents for term contracts, facility renewal and renovation projects; support procurement as needed.
• Assist the Reporting Manager in planning and managing daily operational matters within the zone.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Estate Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in Facilities Management or a related field.
• Relevant certifications such as Green Mark Accredited Professional, Certified Fire Safety Manager, Certified Project Manager, or Certified Workplace Safety & Health Officer are preferred.

Required skills

• Strong working knowledge of Building Services and Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Systems.
• Hands‑on experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) and/or Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
