Facilities Management Manager – Civil & Structural

About the role

Jurong Port is seeking a Facilities Management Manager to oversee the civil and structural assets of its multi‑purpose port facilities. The role involves planning, executing, and auditing maintenance programmes to ensure operational reliability and sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and implement routine and ad‑hoc maintenance regimes for civil and structural facilities.
• Review infrastructure condition, assess operational impact, and recommend maintenance or repair technologies.
• Monitor and audit contractor performance against the Operational Maintenance Manual.
• Allocate resources, command the FM team and contractors, and track progress of maintenance projects.
• Lead project execution including board papers, purchase requests, specifications, and vendor technical evaluations for projects above $5 million.
• Support water‑grid planning for current and future demand.
• Manage budget planning and control for maintenance, repair and upgrades.
• Develop procurement strategies, prepare tender specifications, and review tender documentation.
• Champion green practices, energy‑conservation programs and waste‑management initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering, or Facilities Management.
• Certification as Senior Fire Safety Manager or Fire Safety Manager (preferred).
• 5–8 years of relevant experience, including management of projects valued at $10 million or more.
• Experience with Greenmark applications and sustainability project management is an advantage.
• Service‑oriented, self‑driven and able to work under pressure.
