About the role
The Manager, Facilities Management & Sustainability is responsible for overseeing day‑to‑day facilities operations, maintenance programmes and regulatory compliance across multiple sites. Reporting to the Director of Operations & Asset Development, the role also drives sustainability initiatives that align with MFLG’s long‑term environmental roadmap.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee daily FM operations, including mechanical & electrical (M&E) systems, building fabric, landscape and housekeeping standards.
- Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance to minimise downtime and extend asset life.
- Coordinate with OEMs, service contractors and internal teams to resolve defects and maintain high service standards.
- Maintain asset registers, statutory servicing schedules and FM documentation for audit and regulatory compliance.
- Assist in budgeting and managing FM‑related OpEx and CapEx, ensuring cost‑efficiency.
- Implement sustainability projects such as energy efficiency, water savings, waste reduction and carbon‑reduction initiatives.
- Monitor environmental performance indicators and prepare periodic reports for senior management.
- Support sustainability certifications (e.g., Green Mark, ISO) and promote internal awareness of sustainable practices.
- Ensure compliance with BCA, SCDF, MOM, NEA and other statutory requirements, conduct safety reviews and risk assessments.
- Manage relationships with landlords, tenants, regulators, FM vendors and equipment suppliers, reviewing contracts and service level agreements.
Required profile
- Degree in Engineering, Facilities/Asset Management, Building Services, Environmental Management or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities management, preferably in a multi‑site environment.
- Proven track record in leading maintenance programmes and sustainability initiatives.
- Strong understanding of Singapore regulatory frameworks (BCA, SCDF, MOM, NEA).
