About the role

The Manager, Facilities Management & Sustainability is responsible for overseeing day‑to‑day facilities operations, maintenance programmes and regulatory compliance across multiple sites. Reporting to the Director of Operations & Asset Development, the role also drives sustainability initiatives that align with MFLG’s long‑term environmental roadmap.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee daily FM operations, including mechanical & electrical (M&E) systems, building fabric, landscape and housekeeping standards.
  • Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance to minimise downtime and extend asset life.
  • Coordinate with OEMs, service contractors and internal teams to resolve defects and maintain high service standards.
  • Maintain asset registers, statutory servicing schedules and FM documentation for audit and regulatory compliance.
  • Assist in budgeting and managing FM‑related OpEx and CapEx, ensuring cost‑efficiency.
  • Implement sustainability projects such as energy efficiency, water savings, waste reduction and carbon‑reduction initiatives.
  • Monitor environmental performance indicators and prepare periodic reports for senior management.
  • Support sustainability certifications (e.g., Green Mark, ISO) and promote internal awareness of sustainable practices.
  • Ensure compliance with BCA, SCDF, MOM, NEA and other statutory requirements, conduct safety reviews and risk assessments.
  • Manage relationships with landlords, tenants, regulators, FM vendors and equipment suppliers, reviewing contracts and service level agreements.

Required profile

  • Degree in Engineering, Facilities/Asset Management, Building Services, Environmental Management or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities management, preferably in a multi‑site environment.
  • Proven track record in leading maintenance programmes and sustainability initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of Singapore regulatory frameworks (BCA, SCDF, MOM, NEA).
