Facilities Operation Manager

About the role

The Facilities Operation Manager will be the primary point of contact for the client, overseeing all aspects of facilities management across multiple sites. This senior role combines contract stewardship, operational leadership, team development, and regulatory compliance to ensure seamless building performance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage client contracts, KPIs, SLAs and address service gaps, leading monthly operational reviews.
• Oversee day‑to‑day facilities operations across all assigned sites, ensuring critical building systems remain functional.
• Lead, mentor and evaluate four Supervisors/FSMs, driving a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Direct fire safety and regulatory compliance programmes in line with SCDF, Fire Safety Act and other statutes.
• Monitor and audit vendor performance, ensuring safety and permit‑to‑work compliance.
• Control operational budgets, review quotations and identify cost‑optimisation opportunities.
• Lead incident and risk management, coordinating response to major disruptions and emergencies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in facilities or building operations management.
• Strong leadership and people‑management capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to manage client contracts and service delivery metrics.
• In‑depth knowledge of fire safety, workplace safety and environmental regulations.
• Experience handling budgets, procurement and vendor relationships.
• Excellent problem‑solving and incident‑management skills.
