About the role

The Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) is seeking experienced academics for faculty openings across Food, Chemical and Biotechnology disciplines. Positions range from Lecturer to Full Professor and focus on teaching core chemical and pharmaceutical engineering subjects while driving applied research that supports Singapore’s process industries.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality teaching in chemical, pharmaceutical and food engineering courses.
• Develop and lead applied research projects aligned with industry 4.0, AI/ML, and big‑data initiatives.
• Collaborate with industry partners to translate research outcomes into practical solutions.
• Provide consultancy and expertise to address real‑world industry challenges.
• Mentor and supervise graduate students and junior faculty.

Required profile

• PhD in Chemical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct applied research with industry relevance.
