Field Service Engineer

About the role

The Field Service Engineer will provide on‑site technical support for semiconductor automation equipment at customer locations in Singapore. Working closely with a team, you will ensure machines are installed, commissioned and kept running efficiently, minimizing downtime for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Install, commission, calibrate and test automation machines together with team members.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions to reduce production loss.
• Perform spare‑part replacements and routine maintenance.
• Provide on‑site production assistance and technical support to customers.
• Monitor machine performance, generate reports and give timely feedback.
• Ensure all activities comply with safety and regulatory standards.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Engineering, Factory Automation or a related field.
• Ability to read mechanical, pneumatic and electrical drawings.
• Hands‑on experience in machine installation and maintenance.
• Good communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Basic proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word).
• Experience in automotive servicing is a plus.
