Finance & Accounting Manager

About the role

The Finance & Accounting Manager leads an accounting team responsible for month‑end and period‑end closing across multiple entities and markets. The role partners closely with Business Planning & Control to ensure accurate financial reporting, variance analysis, and continuous process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee month‑end and period‑end closing, reviewing team deliverables and monthly submissions to headquarters.
• Manage key transactional processes, ensuring accurate revenue, expense, and accrual recognition in line with accounting standards.
• Act as primary liaison with Business Planning & Control for closing activities, risk identification, and opportunity assessment.
• Strengthen internal controls, support internal and external audits, and lead statutory compliance matters.
• Identify and implement process improvements for high‑volume transactions and general ledger management.
• Develop tools to enhance financial reporting transparency and support finance system enhancements.
• Supervise, coach, and develop accounting team members while fostering cross‑functional collaboration.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in accounting, audit, or finance operations with people‑management responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.
• High attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to work in a fast‑paced, multi‑entity environment.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP and finance systems.
