Finance Analyst – Banking (Up to $7k)

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Analyst to join a leading bank in Singapore. The role focuses on daily profit and loss reporting, analysis, and supporting the desk’s business strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Produce daily P&L reports and decompose P&L components.
• Provide commentary on significant P&L drivers and link them to business strategies.
• Monitor new deals, late deals, market operations, and off‑market transactions.
• Track exceptions between reported P&L and trader estimates and flag threshold breaches.
• Perform monthly GLAO certification on balance‑sheet accounts and compute desk‑level reserves.
• Report key risk and performance indicators for the desk.
• Streamline workflows, review control processes for gaps, and respond to ad‑hoc queries from Front Office, RMG, TMO, and Finance.

Required profile

• Degree holder in Accountancy, Business, or Finance (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably within the banking industry.
• Knowledge of treasury products, derivatives, and options (preferred).

Required skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Understanding of treasury products, derivatives, and options.
