Finance Business Analyst – Regional Procurement & Legal

About the role

The Finance Business Analyst supports the Finance Manager for Regional Procurement and Legal controlling within DHL's Global Business Services. You will ensure accurate month‑end closing, produce financial reports, and contribute to digital and cost‑saving initiatives across APAC and MENAT regions.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate month‑end closing activities, including journal entries, accruals and reconciliations for Procurement APAC & MENAT and Legal APAC.
• Prepare monthly actuals, variance analysis and commentary against budget for the same areas.
• Analyse financial data for cost controlling, forecasting and budgeting, and resolve any reporting deviations.
• Produce ad‑hoc internal recharges or billings and follow‑up on finance reporting issues.
• Support the Procurement Saving Initiative review, highlighting issues and driving resolutions.
• Generate and analyse reports using Power BI (Controlling PBI reports).
• Participate in inter‑departmental finance and digitalisation projects.
• Maintain relationships with regional GBS Procurement & Legal stakeholders and assist them in achieving financial targets.
