Finance Data Analyst – ETL & Reporting

About the role

We are looking for a Finance Data Analyst to join Sea’s HQ Finance department. You will design, build and maintain data pipelines and warehouses that support accounting and finance reporting across our core businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and translate user requirements into data deliverables.
• Design data models, data warehouses and ETL pipelines.
• Develop, deliver and maintain ETL pipelines using SQL, Python and big‑data technologies.
• Manage data assets, scripts and documentation in line with compliance rules.
• Automate routine data‑processing tasks to improve user efficiency.
• Collaborate with the data platform team to enhance platform features for easier ETL development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field.
• Self‑learner with a strong sense of ownership.
• Strong analytical abilities and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficient in SQL and Python.
• Familiarity with R, Scala, Java or Shell (preferred).
• Hands‑on experience with big‑data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark or Flink (preferred).
• Experience building and maintaining ETL pipelines.
