Finance Director

About the role

The Finance Director is a senior leader responsible for the overall finance function of Singtel, ensuring strong financial governance, strategic planning, regulatory compliance, and optimal capital management across multiple entities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial planning and analysis, treasury operations, and investment portfolio management.
• Oversee tax, legal, corporate secretarial matters, audit coordination, HR support and payroll.
• Provide periodic financial insights to the CEO, Board and senior leadership.
• Drive financial discipline, maintain performance, and manage manpower issues.
• Establish and maintain robust financial policies, controls, and governance frameworks.
• Serve as trusted advisor on financial, investment, risk and corporate governance matters.
• Partner with the Investment Committee and Board on investment portfolio information and impairment evaluations.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in senior finance leadership within a multi‑entity, multi‑country environment.
• Proven ability to advise CEOs and Boards on financial and governance issues.
• Strong track record of implementing financial discipline and governance frameworks.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
