Finance Manager – Cost of Acquisition

About the role

Dyson is seeking a Finance Manager – Cost of Acquisition to support global commercial decision‑making across 39 markets. The role analyses the effectiveness of commercial terms and selective promotional investments, providing insight that balances growth, margin, and long‑term value creation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead analytical reviews of revenue and sales performance, focusing on the impact of rebates, incentives, discounts and consumer‑facing promotions.
• Partner with local and global commercial teams to uncover patterns and drivers of performance across markets and customer accounts.
• Develop robust frameworks to evaluate ROI, incrementality and cost efficiency of commercial terms.
• Assess proposed commercial terms before execution and conduct post‑event performance reviews.
• Apply consistent metrics to track performance and recommend spend optimisation.
• Collaborate with sales, account management and finance teams as a trusted analytical partner.
• Deliver deep‑dive analysis and executive‑level reporting using OneStream, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Engage with regional stakeholders to ensure insights are locally relevant and globally comparable.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics or a related field.
• 7‑8+ years of experience in commercial finance, sales finance, analytics or finance business partnering.
• Proven ability to influence commercial decisions through data and insight.
• Experience working in a global, multi‑market environment is preferred.
