Financial Analyst (Accounting & FP&A)

About the role

The Financial Analyst will join the plant finance team in Singapore, reporting to the Financial Controller. This position combines core manufacturing accounting with financial planning & analysis, acting as a commercial partner and advisor to plant operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide performance management, budget control and cost variance analysis for the plant.
• Identify cost‑optimization opportunities and streamline product costing processes.
• Evaluate capital‑expenditure proposals and support investment decisions.
• Govern inventory, ensure accurate management reporting and coordinate periodic operational reviews.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field, preferably with professional accreditation.
• Progressive finance experience in a manufacturing costing role.
• Strong technical understanding of absorption costing, variance analysis, forecasting and budgeting.
• Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes, BOMs and inventory management.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (General Ledger, Cost Management, Fixed Assets) and data extraction.
• Familiarity with Microsoft applications, Oracle and Business Objects.
• Excellent analytical mindset, attention to detail and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
