Financial Controller – Global Controllership & Shared Services

About the role

We are seeking a senior finance professional to lead group reporting, controllership, compliance and governance across multiple entities of a global technology platform. The role will partner with a sizeable shared‑services finance team based in India and support regional growth and transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Review and sign‑off monthly management accounts for the Group and legal entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Act as primary liaison for external auditors during statutory and consolidated audits.
• Oversee balance‑sheet reconciliations, intercompany balances and technical accounting matters such as revenue recognition, ESOP accounting and capitalisation policies.
• Drive finance process improvements, governance initiatives and internal‑control enhancements.
• Manage corporate income‑tax filings, GST/VAT, withholding tax and the Group’s transfer‑pricing framework across jurisdictions.
• Coordinate regulatory reporting, corporate insurance and corporate secretarial documentation.
• Support fundraising, investor due‑diligence and grant‑related applications.
• Partner with senior leadership on budgeting, forecasting, long‑term financial planning and commercial agreement review.
• Lead and engage a shared‑services finance team in India, including quarterly travel.

Required profile

• Degree in Accountancy with CA, CPA or ACCA qualification.
• 10+ years of finance and controllership experience, preferably with Big 4 training and commercial industry exposure.
• Proven experience managing or partnering with shared‑services finance teams.
