Financial Controller

About the role

Our client, a fast‑growing financial services and technology platform operating across Southeast Asia, is looking for a hands‑on Financial Controller to join the team in Singapore. Reporting directly to the executive leadership team, you will be responsible for the overall accounting and financial control function across multiple markets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage month‑end and year‑end close processes, group consolidations and the preparation of financial statements.
• Oversee financial reporting in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
• Drive process improvements and maximise the efficiency of the ERP platform.
• Supervise treasury, cash‑flow management and support tax and statutory compliance.
• Coordinate external audit activities and maintain strong auditor relationships.
• Lead a lean finance team to ensure accurate and scalable finance operations.

Required profile

• Degree qualified with a professional accounting designation (CA Singapore, CPA, ACCA).
• 7‑10 years of accounting and finance experience in audit and commercial roles.
• Experience in fintech, financial services, lending, banking or credit‑related businesses is a plus.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and hands‑on experience with group consolidations and financial reporting.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented and comfortable in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment.
