Flight Nurse – Jet Air Ambulance

About the role

LifeFlight is seeking a full‑time Flight Nurse to join its Jet Air Ambulance team based in Singapore. You will provide ICU‑standard nursing care to critically ill or injured patients during high‑acuity aeromedical retrievals, working closely with Medical Officers and pilots in a 24/7 environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessment, stabilisation and ongoing critical care in pre‑hospital and in‑transit settings.
• Collaborate with Medical Officers and Coordinators to determine clinical priorities and retrieval strategies.
• Prepare, package and transport patients safely, adhering to aeromedical and clinical safety standards.
• Deliver advanced clinical interventions within nursing scope, including independent nurse‑only retrieval missions.
• Provide accurate clinical handover to receiving healthcare teams and maintain complete mission documentation.
• Ensure readiness, maintenance and proper use of specialised aeromedical equipment.
• Contribute to operational logistics, risk management, clinical governance and continuous education.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with extensive critical care experience.
• Ability to work under high pressure and make rapid clinical decisions.
• Willingness to be on‑call 24 hours per day for 14 consecutive days and be mission ready within two hours of activation.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with medical and aviation staff.
