Principal / Senior Resident Physician – Hospital-at-Home

About the role

The Principal / Senior Resident Physician will join the NUHS@Home team, a hospital‑at‑home programme that delivers acute hospital care to eligible patients in their own homes. Reporting to senior consultants, the physician will help oversee the day‑to‑day operation of the home‑based wards and ensure high‑quality patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the NUHS@Home wards alongside senior consultants.
• Provide direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis and treatment, in a home‑based setting.
• Respond to medical emergencies and manage stressful clinical situations.
• Perform clinical administration tasks and support the overall governance of the programme.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of doctors, nurses and allied health professionals.

Required profile

• Active clinical practice with a basic medical degree and a postgraduate qualification registrable with the Singapore Medical Council.
• Minimum of 6 years post‑housemanship experience.
• Strong diagnostic and clinical management abilities.
• Demonstrated teamwork, respect, integrity, compassion and a commitment to excellence.
