Floor Manager – Restaurant Operations

About the role

As a Floor Manager at Bunga Telang Restaurant, you will oversee front‑of‑house operations across the Orchard Central and Buona Vista outlets, ensuring smooth service flow and exceptional guest experiences. You will lead a team of servers and hosts, manage reservations, and maintain high standards of service and hygiene.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee front‑of‑house operations, including floor management, table allocation and guest flow.
• Lead, train, supervise and mentor servers, hosts and support staff.
• Deliver consistent, exceptional customer service and promptly address guest feedback.
• Enforce restaurant standards, SOPs, policies and procedures.
• Resolve guest complaints efficiently to retain customers.
• Manage reservations and walk‑ins to ensure smooth service during operating hours.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, hygiene and cleanliness regulations.
• Assist in staff scheduling, onboarding, training and performance management.
• Facilitate communication between front‑of‑house and kitchen teams.
• Monitor front‑of‑house inventory and report shortages.
• Drive revenue through upselling, effective table management and operational improvements.
• Support promotional activities, special events and menu initiatives.
• Monitor food quality, presentation and service standards.
• Contribute to sales, labor and operational reporting and cost‑control initiatives.
• Represent the restaurant professionally, upholding brand values.
• Rotate between Orchard Central and Buona Vista locations as required.
