FM Associate – Fire & Lift Engineer

About the role

The FM Associate will ensure the reliable operation and maintenance of mechanical, plumbing & sanitary, fire protection and public address systems across our facilities. You will lead preventive and corrective work, supervise technical teams and contractors, and drive engineering projects that enhance asset performance while meeting safety and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute preventive and corrective maintenance for Mechanical, Plumbing & Sanitary, Fire Protection and Public Address systems.
• Supervise Technical Officers, Technicians, contractors and vendors to meet SLA/KPI requirements safely and efficiently.
• Manage rectification, breakdown, Asset Enhancement Initiatives, Addition & Alteration and Repair & Redecoration projects, reviewing drawings and overseeing execution.
• Monitor maintenance performance via CMMS, analyse equipment trends and maintain accurate records.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, government authorities and internal stakeholders for project delivery and compliance.
• Ensure adherence to Workplace Safety & Health (WSH), fire safety regulations, statutory requirements and company policies.
• Prepare quotations, provide technical recommendations and support daily engineering operations.

Required profile

• Diploma or higher (NITEC) in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, Facilities Management or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in facilities management, building maintenance or M&E operations.
• Hands‑on experience with Mechanical, Plumbing & Sanitary, Fire Protection and Public Address systems.
• Good knowledge of Singapore fire safety regulations and WSH requirements.
• Proven ability to manage contractors, vendors and service providers.
• Strong analytical, communication and leadership abilities; able to work independently.
