Food Processor – Raw Meat Handling

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Food Processor to join our raw meat processing line. The role involves handling, cutting, and preparing meat products according to strict quality and safety standards in a cold environment.

Key responsibilities

• Handle raw meat and perform trimming, portioning, slicing, and other cutting functions.
• Operate simple processing equipment such as grinders, choppers, bowl cutters and filler machines.
• Weigh and sort meat products to meet product specifications.
• Clean and sanitize processing equipment, tools, and work areas in line with food safety regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness of work surfaces and ensure compliance with hygiene standards.
• Identify and report any quality issues to the supervisor.
• Follow all safety protocols and perform daily housekeeping duties.

Required profile

• Previous experience in food manufacturing or production is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively as part of a team.
• Comfortable working in a cold environment (approximately 15 °C).

Required skills

• Meat cutting techniques (trimming, portioning, slicing).
• Operation of grinders, choppers, bowl cutters and filler machines.
• Weighing and sorting of meat products.
• Cleaning and sanitation of food processing equipment.
