Food Safety & Quality Associate Manager

About the role

The Food Safety & Quality Associate Manager will lead all on‑site quality and food‑safety activities for PepsiCo’s Concentrate business in Singapore. Reporting to the Plant Director, the role ensures compliance with quality programs, drives continuous improvement and supports the delivery of PepsiCo’s flagship beverage and snack brands.

Key responsibilities

• Drive compliance with PepsiCo Global Quality programs and policies across the site in partnership with functional stakeholders.
• Lead incident management, crisis response and customer‑quality issues for the Singapore plant.
• Implement the Singapore Quality Strategy, including communication, project management and rollout.
• Champion continuous‑improvement initiatives and business‑process‑improvement (BPI) activities.
• Own and monitor key quality KPIs and metrics, ensuring they align with corporate targets.
• Act as a business partner to Operations, Supply Chain and other functions to embed a consistent quality focus.
• Provide strategic guidance on new product introductions, validation, total quality system compliance and capital projects.
• Manage the quality budget, annual operating plan and ensure compliance with regulatory and third‑party audit requirements.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in food‑safety or quality management within a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to collaborate in a fast‑paced, global organisation and influence cross‑functional teams.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, service and operational efficiency.
• Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making skills for crisis and change‑control situations.
