Footwear Designer

About the role

We are a globally expanding fashion and lifestyle brand seeking a talented Footwear Designer to lead the creation of seasonal shoe collections for the Singapore market and beyond. You will blend trend research, design conceptualisation, and product development to deliver commercially viable, consumer‑centric footwear.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research, store visits and analyse consumer feedback to translate insights into design strategies.
• Create seasonal footwear concepts, focusing on ergonomics, functionality and brand direction, and present them via mood boards, sketches and CAD visualisations.
• Collaborate with technical and sourcing teams to ensure designs are feasible, cost‑effective and ready for mass production, preparing detailed specifications and overseeing sample reviews.
• Analyse sales and product performance data to refine future collections and align design direction with commercial goals.
• Source new materials, finishes and design ideas to keep collections fresh and relevant.
• Manage project timelines, documentation and team coordination to meet seasonal launch deadlines.

Required profile

• Degree in Fashion Design, Footwear Design, Fashion Marketing or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in fashion or footwear design, preferably women’s footwear.
• Strong knowledge of footwear construction, materials and product development processes.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Expertise with CAD tools such as Rhino or equivalent.
