Freelance 2D Graphic Designer

About the role

Get Out! Events is seeking a freelance 2D Graphic Designer to create visual assets for corporate and government events. The ideal candidate works quickly, understands briefs, and leverages modern AI tools to deliver strong concepts and production‑ready designs.

Key responsibilities

• Create 2D assets for proposals, pitch decks, mood boards, branding, posters, banners, signage, social posts, EDMs, and presentation layouts.
• Translate event concepts and client briefs into polished visual directions.
• Produce multiple creative options rapidly for internal review and client presentation.
• Adapt approved visual systems across formats, sizes, and event touchpoints.
• Prepare final artwork files for digital use, print production, and presentations.
• Collaborate with the Get Out! Events team to refine concepts based on feedback and deadlines.
• Utilise AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, Photoshop Generative Fill, Canva AI) to speed ideation, image generation, layout variation, and production workflows.

Required profile

• Strong portfolio of 2D graphic design work, preferably for events, campaigns, brands, or presentations.
• Good sense of layout, typography, colour, hierarchy, and visual storytelling.
• Ability to work quickly, independently, and communicate clearly.
• Experience preparing files for both print and digital output.
• Comfort with short timelines and multiple design iterations.
