Full Stack Engineer – Singapore

About the role

ASTEK is seeking a motivated Full Stack Engineer to join its Singapore team. You will design, develop, and maintain modern web applications while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver new features.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full‑stack web applications using contemporary frameworks.
• Collaborate with product, design, and operations teams to define and ship new features.
• Write clean, maintainable code for both client‑side and server‑side components.
• Implement responsive user interfaces and ensure cross‑browser compatibility.
• Develop and integrate APIs and web services.
• Participate in code reviews and uphold coding standards.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise application performance.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices.

Required profile

• Proficiency in front‑end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and frameworks like React, Angular or Vue.js.
• Strong experience with Python and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Hands‑on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Solid understanding of version control (Git) and RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with micro‑services architecture and AWS cloud services.
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., SHIP‑HATS).
