Full-time GCE O/A Level Teacher (Various Subjects)

About the role

East Asia Institute of Management is seeking enthusiastic full‑time teachers to deliver Singapore Cambridge GCE O and A Level programmes at its Jurong East campus. The role is on‑site, offering the chance to work closely with motivated students and a supportive academic team.

Key responsibilities

• Teach one or more GCE O/A Level subjects, including General Paper, Mathematics, Sciences, Humanities, Business and Accounting.
• Design and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the latest MOE syllabus.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, practice papers and revision sessions.
• Monitor student progress, provide regular feedback and intervene with targeted support where needed.
• Set, mark and evaluate examinations and assessments.
• Mentor and guide students, fostering a positive and motivating learning environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• At least three years of teaching or related experience, though outstanding fresh graduates may be considered.
• Prior experience in a Singapore secondary school or junior college is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational abilities.
• Patient, enthusiastic and committed to student success.

Required skills

• Strong command of English (both written and spoken).
• Proficiency in preparing curriculum‑aligned teaching resources.
• Ability to assess and analyse student performance data.
• Effective classroom management techniques.
