Game Programmer

About the role

In this position you will be responsible for the code and systems of the assigned game and will use your technical expertise to keep the project running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Write high‑quality, performance‑driven code for game development and live‑service operations.
• Contribute technical expertise to system and solution design, shaping scalable and maintainable game systems.
• Plan and keep project schedules on track through realistic estimation and proactive risk management.
• Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to identify, analyse, and resolve technical challenges.
• Debug and optimise data and code to ensure high‑quality game delivery.
• Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in game development or a comparable industry is an advantage.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work collaboratively within a development team.
• Good understanding of the software development lifecycle and best practices.

Required skills

• Proficiency in C/C++, PHP and SQL programming languages.
• Proficiency with source‑code management and version‑control systems such as Git or SVN.
• Experience with cloud services, mobile application development or graphics programming (plus).
