General Assurance - Accounting Trainee (SMU)

About the role

PwC's General Assurance practice helps organisations improve their corporate reporting and comply with regulatory requirements and contractual agreements. This internship is open to accountancy students from Singapore Management University who want to develop themselves in the profession within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and organise financial data
• Perform simple audit procedures, such as inspecting accounting records and other financial documents
• Evaluate the results of audit procedures and prepare audit documentation
• Provide assistance during the financial statements review process

Required profile

• Accountancy student participating in the Work-Study Degree Programme from Singapore Management University
• Keen to develop themselves in the profession
• Highly motivated, enthusiastic, confident and creative
• Good co-curricular activities record
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Service-oriented, committed to teamwork and excellence
