General Manager – Restaurant Operations

About the role

The General Manager will lead the launch and ongoing operation of Black Sheep Restaurants' new outlet in Singapore. Reporting to the founders and operations managers, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences while driving profitability and team development.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily service, embodying Black Sheep’s culture and storytelling to create memorable guest experiences.
• Develop and enforce SOPs, checklists, and operational standards across food, beverage, and service areas.
• Oversee POS systems (Revel), end‑of‑day reporting, inventory control, and cash handling procedures.
• Recruit, train, coach, and retain a high‑performing F&B team, including regular briefings and performance appraisals.
• Monitor labour and product costs, drive revenue through cover counts and spend‑per‑head initiatives.
• Collaborate with Operations Managers and founders on financial reporting, maintenance needs, and new menu roll‑outs.

• Proven progression in restaurant management with senior‑level responsibility.
• Strong business acumen, cost‑control expertise, and ability to increase sales through service excellence.
• Passion for hospitality, community‑first mindset, and commitment to continuous improvement.
