Gig Community Executive / Assistant Manager
Fuku · Singapore
Job description
About the role
FastGig connects students, stay-at-home parents, caregivers and freelancers in Singapore with part-time gigs in F&B, retail, events, hospitality and warehousing, with weekly pay and no interviews. It is looking for a Gig Community Executive or Assistant Manager to grow its community of Gig Workers (Giggers), bringing new members onto the app and helping them land their first gig. The role reports to the Head of Business Unit and owns the results, hired at Executive or Assistant Manager level depending on experience.
Key responsibilities
- Grow the community on the ground: run roadshows and pop-up booths at campuses, MRT hubs, malls and neighbourhoods, and build partnerships with universities, polytechnics, ITEs and private schools through career fairs, CCA tie-ups and student ambassador programmes.
- Grow the community online: plan and run content on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Telegram and WhatsApp, and work with Marketing on paid campaigns, banners and EDMs, and with Product on in-app messages and push notifications, designing referral, first-gig and loyalty campaigns.
- Match Giggers to gigs: promote under-filled gigs, locations and time slots, and build a smooth first-gig journey, working with Operations on urgent and large-volume shifts.
- Build loyalty and trust: host appreciation events, Gigger-of-the-Month recognitions and community meet-ups, and collect Gigger stories (with consent) for content.
- Partner with employers: work with F&B chains, retailers and warehouses on short, role-specific training such as service-crew basics, POS and packing standards.
- Measure and improve: track the funnel from registration to completed shift by channel, share a weekly report, and focus budget and effort on what works, against targets agreed in the first 30 days.
Required profile
- 2-3 years' experience (Executive) or 4-5 years including leading campaigns, managing vendors or supervising student ambassadors (Assistant Manager) in community management, growth or performance marketing, recruitment marketing or brand activation.
- Track record of high-volume sign-up or hiring campaigns, with numbers to show for it.
- Experience growing and moderating communities on Telegram and WhatsApp Business.
- Experience running roadshows or activations, including venue booking and managing vendors and booth crew.
- Comfortable working evenings and weekends for roadshows and events (time off in lieu).
- A plus: gig, staffing, HR-tech, F&B or retail background, referral/loyalty/campus ambassador programmes, or training materials for frontline workers.
Required skills
- Excel or Google Sheets (pivot tables, XLOOKUP, simple charts) to track funnel performance.
- Working knowledge of PDPA and Do Not Call (DNC) requirements for sign-ups and WhatsApp, SMS or email marketing.
