Global Facilities Standardization Engineer

About the role

Micron is looking for a Global Facilities Standardization Engineer to lead the implementation of systems and programs that improve performance and reliability across its Facilities operations. The engineer champions a continuous improvement culture, works with cross-functional teams to drive projects worldwide, and collaborates with Global Facilities Central Engineering to standardize operations and maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Implement Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) at assigned site(s) through training sessions and workshops
• Track, assess and communicate progress on Standardization and TPM adherence
• Analyze maintenance data to improve performance, reliability and cost
• Standardize Preventative Maintenance Procedures across the Facilities network
• Work with Global Facilities Central Engineering to define and implement Best Known Methods, and conduct audits to verify compliance
• Lead standardization projects to align operations and maintenance at all sites
• Design and deliver solutions that support a high-performance culture
• Use AI-assisted tools to improve efficiency and share AI-enabled improvements

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, Facilities or related engineering
• At least 5 years of Facilities O&M or Facilities Engineering experience in a semiconductor fab or large-scale manufacturing plant, including project ownership, milestone and stakeholder management
• Demonstrated leadership of Lean, Six Sigma and TPM improvement initiatives
• Preferred: experience creating SOPs, work instructions and training materials
