Global Financial Controller – Lead Finance Operations

About the role

The client, a high‑growth multinational in the services sector, is seeking a seasoned Global Financial Controller to lead its worldwide controllership and finance operations. Reporting directly to the CFO, this senior position will shape financial reporting, statutory compliance, governance, treasury and finance operations across multiple regions.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee global financial reporting and ensure statutory compliance in all operating jurisdictions.
• Lead a multinational finance and shared‑services team, driving standardised processes and operational efficiency.
• Manage treasury activities, governance frameworks and internal audit coordination.
• Support strategic business decisions with accurate financial analysis and reporting excellence.
• Drive finance transformation initiatives, including shared‑services optimisation and ERP implementation projects.

Required profile

• Degree qualified with CPA, CA or equivalent professional finance qualification.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive finance leadership experience in large multinational organisations.
• Proven experience in group reporting, controllership, statutory accounting, treasury, compliance, governance and audit.
• Track record of managing large regional or global finance teams.
