Global Talent Sourcing Intern

About the role

Tencent is building an in‑house sourcing hub to streamline recruitment and strengthen talent acquisition. We are looking for a motivated intern to support the team in identifying and engaging top talent across regions.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and source suitable candidates.
• Conduct market research to locate potential candidates, assess engagement channels, and track industry trends.
• Build and maintain talent pools for evergreen positions, ensuring a steady pipeline of qualified prospects.
• Reach out to candidates via email, social media, or phone to gauge interest and share job opportunities.
• Encourage referrals from candidates and employees to expand the candidate network.
• Report on sourcing metrics, such as conversion rates, and suggest improvements to the sourcing process.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or master’s program in Human Resources or a related field.
• Prior recruitment or sourcing experience, preferably with exposure to Boolean search techniques.
• Strong analytical abilities and proficiency in gathering and interpreting data.
• Adaptability to cross‑regional and cross‑cultural work environments.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
