Global Talent Sourcing Internship

About the role

Tencent is launching an in‑house sourcing hub to strengthen its talent acquisition capabilities. We are looking for motivated interns to support the sourcing team, gain hands‑on experience in recruitment, and learn how to identify and engage top talent across regions.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand role requirements and define candidate profiles.
• Conduct market research to locate potential candidates, assess engagement channels, and stay updated on industry trends.
• Build and maintain talent pools for evergreen positions, ensuring pipelines are refreshed across multiple platforms.
• Reach out to candidates via email, social media, or phone to gauge interest and share job opportunities.
• Generate referrals by encouraging candidates and employees to recommend qualified prospects.
• Report on sourcing metrics such as conversion rates and suggest improvements to the sourcing process.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or master’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
• Strong analytical ability and comfort working with cross‑regional, cross‑cultural teams.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and fast‑learning skills.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin to interact with HQ and international stakeholders.

Required skills

• Experience with Boolean search techniques for candidate sourcing.
