Go Applications Developer

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Go Applications Developer to join our cloud‑native team in Petaling Jaya. You will design, build, and maintain high‑performance backend services that power our modern, containerized platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Go.
• Build RESTful APIs and gRPC services.
• Deploy, manage, and monitor applications on Kubernetes clusters.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines with tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or ArgoCD.
• Configure and manage ingress using AWS ALB Ingress Controller and Nginx.
• Collaborate with DevOps and frontend teams to ensure smooth integration.
• Optimize performance, reliability, and security across the stack.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience developing with Go (Golang).
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and API design (REST/gRPC).
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes (EKS, GKE, or self‑managed clusters).
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, ArgoCD).
• Experience managing ingress on AWS and Nginx.
• Familiarity with modern cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS.
