Graduate Consultant, Economic & Financial Consulting

About the role

The Economic & Financial Consulting practice is a compact, dynamic team offering small-team work and deep exposure to projects. It provides oral and written expert evidence on damages quantification, accounting issues, loss of profits, valuation of businesses or instruments and regulatory issues in commercial and investment treaty disputes. Questions of accounting, economics, finance or valuation often arise in dispute resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Identify relevant project material and deliver critical supporting research
• Examine large volumes of data
• Assist with reports, written studies, presentations, quantitative exhibits and other client deliverables
• Design and build valuation models and perform financial analysis
• Investigate and critique assertions, evaluations and work products of other experts
• Assist in business development activities in Asia-Pacific, as needed

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline; second class upper honours or equivalent preferred
• Professional proficiency in written and spoken English
• Existing legal authorization to work in Singapore without employer sponsorship
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines under pressure
• Strong analytical and diagnostic thinking and commitment to continuous learning

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint (preferred)
• Valuation modelling and financial analysis

What we offer

• Sponsorship of the ACA qualification from ICAEW or the CFA program, including reimbursement of course, examination and membership fees, plus paid study and exam leave
• Two weeks of training in London for new joiners, meeting colleagues from the EMEA and APAC offices
