Graduate Engineer – Civil

About the role

As a Graduate Engineer at AECOM you will join a global infrastructure consultancy and support the delivery of civil engineering projects across a range of sectors. Working under senior engineers, you will gain hands‑on experience in design, site investigation and project coordination while contributing to sustainable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing engineering designs, drawings and specifications using AutoCAD, Civil 3D and related tools.
• Conduct site visits, surveys and inspections to collect data and monitor progress.
• Perform calculations and analyses to ensure designs comply with codes and standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative and sustainable engineering solutions.
• Prepare technical reports, documentation and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support project management tasks such as scheduling, budgeting and resource allocation.
• Ensure health, safety and environmental regulations are followed on all sites.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
• Eligibility to work in Singapore.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D (or similar engineering software).
• Basic knowledge of structural analysis and design principles.
• Familiarity with construction materials and methods.
