Group Accountant

About the role

LAI Games is seeking a Group Accountant to join its finance team. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will own the full spectrum of General Ledger, Fixed Assets, and financial reporting activities across the group.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly consolidated financial statements for the LAI Games Group.
• Execute inter‑company reconciliations, elimination entries, and support month‑end close processes.
• Maintain journal entries, balance‑sheet reviews, and gross‑profit margin analysis.
• Compute and report sales commissions and royalties.
• Update fixed‑asset registers and assist with IFRS 16 adjustments.
• Handle statutory compliance including GST returns, withholding tax, and XBRL filing.
• Support corporate tax matters, year‑end audits, and audit schedule preparation.
• Identify and implement finance process improvements and ERP automation initiatives.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Professional qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA) or equivalent degree in accounting or business.
• Experience with group consolidation and financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and local tax regulations.
