Group Financial Controller

About the role

The Group Financial Controller will join a global investment holding firm with interests in healthcare, financial services and energy. Reporting to the Group CFO, this senior position combines controllership, cash‑flow oversight and strategic finance partnership across multiple countries.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior leadership on group strategy, budgeting, forecasting and long‑term planning.
• Own group cash flow, liquidity, capital allocation and capex planning.
• Oversee group‑wide management reporting, consolidation and financial statements.
• Manage multi‑entity accounting, intercompany transactions, transfer pricing and tax matters.
• Lead audits and ensure timely, compliant financial reporting.
• Strengthen governance, internal controls and financial policies across the group.
• Drive process improvements, standardisation and operational efficiency.
• Support strategic initiatives including investments, divestments and cross‑functional projects.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant qualification (CA, ACCA or equivalent), preferably with Big 4 experience.
• 12‑15 years of overall finance experience, including senior controllership roles.
• Strong technical accounting and consolidation expertise.
• Experience operating at a group level with multi‑entity and regional exposure.
• Proven track record in cash‑flow management, capex planning and treasury.
• Background in PE‑backed or holding‑company investment platforms is a plus.
• Excellent business partnering skills with senior stakeholders.
• Resilient, hands‑on and commercially minded with high attention to detail.
