Group VP, People & Culture - Industrial Manufacturing

About the role

A private equity-backed international industrial manufacturing and engineering business is looking for a Group VP, People & Culture based in Singapore. The client serves critical infrastructure, energy and industrial markets and has about 2,500 employees across Asia Pacific, the Middle East and Latin America. The role partners with a globally distributed executive leadership team to strengthen culture, build organisational capability and establish a world-class HR function, with regular international travel.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a global people strategy aligned with business growth objectives.
• Build a high-performance culture across geographically dispersed operations.
• Partner with senior leaders on organisational effectiveness, workforce planning and change management.
• Lead leadership development, succession planning and talent management programmes globally.
• Modernise HR policies, systems, governance and digital HR capabilities.
• Strengthen the HR and General Affairs function through coaching, structure and process improvement.

Required profile

• More than 15 years of HR leadership experience, including regional or global scope.
• Track record in industrial, manufacturing, engineering, energy, construction or similar complex environments.
• Experience partnering executives on organisation design, workforce strategy and business transformation.
• Demonstrated success leading culture-building initiatives across diverse, dispersed teams.
• Proven ability to develop high-performing HR organisations.
• Comfortable with regular international travel.

What we offer

• Remuneration of SG$20,000 to SG$25,000 per month (SG$240,000 to SG$300,000 per year).
