Hardware Test Automation Intern

About the role

Aruba, part of Hewlett Packard Enterprise, is hiring a Data Analytics (Test Automation) Intern in Singapore. The role is onsite, with the expectation that you will primarily work from an HPE partner or customer office. You will join a global community of engineers working on electronic subsystems of Ethernet switch systems.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, modify and evaluate electronic subsystems of Ethernet switch systems
• Conduct feasibility, design margin and validation analysis, and empirical testing on new and leveraged designs
• Validate engineering implementations against established principles and specifications
• Develop and extend the coverage of current test automation
• Analyze test data using Python and SQL, and build automated test scripts to verify requirement compliance
• Automate data collection and aggregation to build reporting dashboards
• Work on small independent engineering projects and prepare reports and technical documentation

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or another engineering discipline
• Strong interest in coding and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Eager, quick learner with teamwork spirit
• Leadership experience at university and/or participation in student organizations and community service

Required skills

• Familiarity with HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Proficiency in Python and SQL
• Power BI or other data analytics tools are an advantage
