HBI New Product Introduction (NPI) Instructor

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a Hybrid Bonding Interconnect (HBI) New Product Introduction (NPI) Instructor to join its Manufacturing business unit in Singapore. The role combines technical expertise with instructional responsibilities, supporting both existing and upcoming semiconductor equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Learn and master new HBI tools under development and sustain production tasks.
• Design, develop, and deliver classroom and hands‑on training for new products.
• Provide live distance learning (LDL), enhanced distance learning (EDL) and instructor‑led training (ILT) sessions.
• Transition training ownership to volume instructors once tools enter full production.
• Manage multiple training projects simultaneously, creating curricula, student guides, and supporting materials.
• Occasionally travel to Kalispell, MT for on‑site collaboration.

Required profile

• Technical background in semiconductor manufacturing or related engineering discipline.
• Experience delivering technical training in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong project‑management abilities to handle several product introductions concurrently.
• Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
