Head of Business Management

About the role

The Head of Business Management leads the Business Management Team at HMGICS, driving initiatives that improve operational efficiency and profitability across the organisation. This senior role oversees sales and production support, export operations, and stakeholder coordination to align business activities with strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Order-to-Delivery (OTD) operations for all vehicle models produced by HMGICS.
• Oversee agency agreements with Hyundai and Kia, providing customer support, warranty after‑sales services, data management and Voice of Customer handling.
• Coordinate supply and delivery of consigned vehicles for export programmes.
• Strengthen budget management and cost‑control measures to boost profitability and drive continuous cost‑saving initiatives.
• Manage key fleet accounts and develop rental and leasing opportunities in collaboration with Hyundai and Kia Regional Headquarters.
• Serve as the communication hub among Hyundai/Kia Headquarters, Regional Headquarters and distributor networks to ensure effective coordination.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Automotive Management or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in automotive business planning, sales operations, brand retail strategy or sales planning.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management abilities, with extensive collaboration experience with Hyundai Motor Company Headquarters, Regional Headquarters and internal teams.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager for business planning, strategic initiatives or cross‑functional projects (preferred).
• Demonstrated ownership, initiative and the ability to identify opportunities and recommend improvements.
• Hands‑on leadership experience building, stabilising and expanding teams.
