Head of Digital Engineering Support

About the role

The Head of Digital Engineering Support will lead the BIM and digital engineering teams across Singapore and global locations. This senior position is responsible for translating engineering design requirements into accurate digital models, ensuring compliance with local authorities, and driving digital innovation throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage BIM modelers, drafters, and digital quantity analysts, overseeing staffing, work allocation and performance reviews.
• Develop, maintain and enforce BIM standards, execution plans and modelling protocols for coastal and reclamation projects.
• Review and approve BIM models, conduct clash detection, issue management and model audits before submission.
• Support project teams with 2D drafting, drawing registers, and conversion of engineering sketches into detailed documentation.
• Extract quantities, run cut‑fill and dredging analyses, and validate volume calculations for tender evaluations.
• Manage e‑submission processes to Singapore authorities (BCA, PUB, LTA, NParks, JTC) and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide technical oversight during design, tender and construction phases, delivering simulations, visualisations and quantity take‑offs.
• Oversee digital asset libraries, version control, file management and audit procedures to maintain data integrity.
• Handle administrative duties such as timesheets, training schedules, budgeting for software/hardware and adherence to cybersecurity policies.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction or a related discipline.
• 5–8 years of BIM experience, including leadership or team‑management responsibilities.
• Proven experience with Singapore authority submissions and BIM standards for infrastructure projects.
• Strong analytical abilities and a track record of delivering high‑quality digital models.
