Head of Fleet Operations

About the role

The Head of Fleet Operations will lead the Mobility Services & Operations team, overseeing day‑to‑day fleet management and driving strategic growth. This senior position reports to senior leadership and is responsible for ensuring fleet reliability, efficiency, and compliance with Singapore transport regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily fleet operations to maximise utilisation and reliability.
• Develop and execute a fleet growth strategy aligned with business demand.
• Analyse fleet data to identify improvement initiatives and enhance operational efficiency and sustainability.
• Drive fleet modernisation, selecting vehicle models and managing the full lifecycle.
• Implement controls to minimise downtime and ensure preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Maintain full compliance with local transport regulations, licensing and inspection standards.
• Manage department budget, identify cost‑saving opportunities and oversee vendor relationships.
• Negotiate contracts and monitor performance of suppliers, maintenance vendors, insurers and regulators.

Required profile

• Proven fleet management or transport operations experience.
• 3–5 years in a leadership role overseeing fleet utilisation, maintenance, compliance, budgeting and vendor management.
• Strong familiarity with Singapore transport regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated success in fleet modernisation and operational efficiency improvements.
