Head of HR

About the role

You will join a well‑established organisation with a strong operational footprint, supporting a sizeable workforce in a regulated environment. As Head of HR you will lead the function, providing both strategic direction and hands‑on execution across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the overall HR function, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and governance standards.
• Develop and implement people policies, workforce practices and HR governance frameworks.
• Partner with senior leaders to support organisational planning, talent acquisition and workforce effectiveness.
• Manage employee relations, reward and performance systems, and ensure compliance with labour legislation.
• Represent the organisation on HR matters with external authorities, industry bodies and employee representatives.
• Lead, coach and develop the HR team while managing departmental budgets.
• Drive HR initiatives that enhance business continuity and employee well‑being.

Required profile

• A degree in Human Resources or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in a managerial or leadership HR role.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations, labour legislation, compensation & benefits, performance management and organisational planning.
• Experience operating in structured, operationally complex environments.
• Confidence engaging with external authorities, industry bodies or employee representatives.
• Leadership style that balances hands‑on execution with strategic thinking.
