Head of NPI Engineering and Project Management

About the role

Lead the New Product Introduction (NPI) engineering and project management function at NTS Singapore, driving end‑to‑end delivery of complex high‑tech products. You will align NPI strategy with business goals, ensure on‑time, on‑budget execution, and transition projects to high‑volume manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute NPI strategy in line with overall business objectives.
• Lead, mentor and manage cross‑functional NPI engineering and project management teams.
• Oversee full project lifecycle, ensuring scope, schedule and budget compliance.
• Coordinate collaboration across sales, manufacturing, supply chain, planning and customer support.
• Maintain project governance, reporting, risk mitigation and KPI‑driven continuous improvement.
• Manage budgets, financial tracking and smooth hand‑over to high‑volume manufacturing.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years manufacturing experience with parts/assembly and NPI exposure.
• 10+ years project management experience, including at least 5 years in program management.
• Proven leadership of cross‑functional teams in global, complex environments.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving and stakeholder management skills.
